Update on us.....

Nykki is doing really well. Our dear friend Ashleigh came and picked him up yesterday and kept him at her place all afternoon where he played with her daughter and had a blast. I was so happy for him since he's been getting pretty ignored during the sick period. He has barely been sick (his vomitting lasted only half a day and then he was fine again).

Ronan is doing well but he's still sick. He's throwing up but only about twice a day so he's able to keep down breastmilk and stay hydrated.

Seth's fever is gone but he has occasional hot flashes. His digestion is still acting funny so he's sticking to eating soups and steamed veggies. I got my first full nights sleep in four days last night! Yay! I still have some tummy issues, nausea especially but I seem to be able to eat rice, so I'm sticking to that for now. Seth, Ronan and I are all on Nux Vomica 30C as recommended by our wonderful Naturopathic docs down at Ukiah Naturopathic Clinic.

We seem stable and every hour we get a little better. Hopefully no more backsliding. Now it's time to think about recovery. A huge pile of dishes, trash that needs to go to the dump, etc.

Thanks everyone for their kind words and prayers and thanks especially to Ashleigh who brought us food, our homeopathics, emergency western meds (which we didn't end up having to use thank Goddess), and she even did our laundry! Ashleigh rules!

On another note...

We've made some decisions about our living space. It needs to change. We live in a tiny, old place in the woods with a small bit of land. I like small places in the woods but the place is really old. It has black mold, faulty wiring(that has started fires), and a septic system that backs up several times a year. To add to that we are the first place to get water from the man made lake/resevior out here so anytime they dump chems in it to balance something we get red, blue or sometimes yellow water. They do not take good care of the water (lousy government) and we know bad water makes us sick/sicker.

We've been trying to move for years but housing is really hard to find around here. We want to stay in the woods, in the township, but in years of looking we've found two places and didn't get either one. We don't want to move in town even though it's a nice, small little town, we preffer the woods but it would be easier to get a place in town.

At this point we have to think about our health. So another intense house hunt is on.
