Here's a low cost, fun, indoor activity - face painting! I created this bumble bee using a teaspoon of tumeric mixed with a teaspoon of dish soap (for the yellow) and ground charcoal and dish soap (for the black).
You can create a lot of colors by mixing natural ingredients with equal parts dish soap! Some other ideas include;
beet juice
juiced parsley
mud
clay
Add a few drops of lavender for a soothing experience! For outdoor play paint chest, arms and neck too! It dries fast in the sun and is a great accessory for your next family hike! Easy clean up includes a bubble bath or swim in the river :)
