Here's Harry the Gnome who lives under the largest root of the biggest Madrone tree in the forest. He gets up to all kinds of crazy adventures that I tell to Nykki during story time. Nykki came up with his own character named Harry the Mouse who also happens to live under the largest root in the biggest Madrone tree in the forest and is equally adventurous, often meeting up with the same characters along the way as Harry the Gnome does.
One of my favorite hats I wear as a mother is the story teller hat. Like a wise Celtic bard singing tales of brave Gods and Goddess or heros who fought back Roman invaders - I am part of a rich oral tradition, weaving words like a web, strong enough to hold a wonderous tale.
